ABIS, Inc. Expands Direct Mail Imaging Capacity

Owings Mills, MD – ABIS, Inc. a leading national provider of traditional direct marketing services, announced today that it has added to its direct mail imaging capabilities by installing two new Nipson laser printers in its facility in Owings Mills, Maryland. This addition adds to the company’s current inventory of three OCE Pagestream's giving ABIS greater capability and flexibility for a wide range of direct mail applications.

With the Nipson laser printers, ABIS can offer more choices to customers that are searching for new and
creative direct mail products. The Nipson's add greater flexibility in terms of paper thickness, substrates, and document complexity. The Nipson technology allows for the printing of specialty materials including foils, plastics and labels. In addition, the Nipson printers are capable of producing complex applications such as tipped-on cards, integrated products, duplex imaging and MICR printing.

The two printers are set-up as twin machines to print duplex applications from fan-folded or roll-to-roll
forms.
